Here I am driving 8 plus hours to Chicago for a wedding of two co-workers. I am so tired of being in a car, especially my car! But Dave and Shelley's wedding was very nice. Hot, but nice (there was no air in the church). This is a picture of my drive into the city.
Pictured from left to right: Kristin (my Las Vegas roommate), Meghan (friend since 4th grade) and Me. Here we are post ceremony trying to cool off the breeze. A few other teachers from Vegas were at the wedding, they happened to be in town visiting some of there family and it was great to see them.
Meghan and I are super great dancers! We have both agreed that if and when we become co-presidents of the USA, that all conflicts will be solved with a dance off. Here we are practicing at the wedding. What great conflict resolution !

Day One of Road Trip 2009
I look excited to be leaving Nevada, via the Hoover Dam...Little did I know that 3 days of driving and a very boring southern route, would not be so great.
Here's my dad, Jay, on day one of the road trip. The canyon that surrounds the Hoover Dam is behind him.
And of course, Sasha on day one of the road trip. She kinda looks like a cow. Don't you think?

My good friends from Stow, OH.

My good friends from high school were all bridesmaids/groomsmen in Linda's wedding. The only person missing is Linda, but she was the bride, so we will forgive her. It was so much fun for the six of us to hangout together. We don't get days like that very often.
Cox/den Heijer Wedding...What a mouthful!
On Saturday, June 20th one of my oldest friends (since 4th grade) got married to a great lad. I was honored to be in the wedding party. Here's a picture of my parents (Jay and Becky) and I after the ceremony. Wow, both my parents are smiling! That is an accomplishment! It was a beautiful wedding. Congrats Gerritt and Linda!
My dog, Sasha
On Monday, May 18th, I was strong armed (well, not really) by my friends Dave and Shelley into taking home a little rescue dog that followed them home one day. I named her Sasha and she has become an instant stinker! She's doesn't listen or come or do anything but make a mess all over the house with her toys. But she is great! She's about 6 months old and a mix of Chihuahua/Min Pin/ and Weenier.
What a cutie!
Road trip with Dad
On day two of my Road Trip home, my dad, Jay, and I stopped in Little Rock, Arkansas. We ate a Cracker Barrel and my dad finished the brainteaser game at the table in just one try!! According to the game, he is a genius! I'm not sure about that one :) We stayed in a less than stellar motel, but we had fun. Did you know that Arkansas is the number one producer of rice in the USA?? We didn't but we saw hundreds of rice patties as we drove through the state.
